Being a member of a Toastmasters club is a challenge, while not a demanding one, because of the pleasant and supportive environment during the meetings. It is challenging to participate in a club which provides the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills.

But how does one become a member of a Toastmasters group?

Before registration, it is considered useful to attend a meeting as a visitor: thus exercise the right to participate in the meeting and understand (from first hand) the working methods and the spirit prevailing in the meetings. Also, the guest has the opportunity to ask any questions he might have about the club and the institution as a whole.

The next step is to register to the club (by filling in a simple form), pay the registration fee and receive the New Member’s Package, i.e. the two (2) enrollment manuals (Communication and Leadership manual).

Apart from the initial registration cost, the participation in a club also includes two (2) semiannual subscriptions, using part of the amount to cover operating expenses of the club. It is worth emphasizing that subscriptions have an extremely low price, due to the fact that the club is part of non-profit organization, the Toastmasters International.
